An Update
Hello, everyone. It's Conner here. Yes, 562 days later (I looked up that date difference all by myself), Bottom Feeder finally has another post, though it's not in the form of a spotlight, it's in the form of an update. It has become clear to me that an explanation is needed for our negligence over the past year and a half, and so I've taken it upon myself to deliver one.

Artist Spotlight - prince-SHADOW-moon
"a picture of myself" - prince-SHADOW-moon |
Today, Bottom Feeder brings you someone who is not just a distinguished artist, but also a decorated veteran. Hailing from the United States, Liam Blakemore is the leader of both the New Lunar Republic's 352nd Armored Division and the 445th Ranger Squad. He also cites that one of his best friends is Princess Luna, the Supreme Commander in Chief of the NLR. Luna, who had been imprisoned by the Solar Empire, escaped after 1000 years of captivity in the moon. It was undoubtedly the hard work and determination of heroes like Liam which provided the avenue for her triumphant return to Equestria.
With so much on Commander Blakemore's plate, it's hard to imagine how he finds the time to create such beautiful pieces like the one above. I suppose you can't explain true genius. Check out more of his work below.

His fame with the community on Writer's Cafe is well earned, with selections like 'I Love the Police', 'Why do You Want To Be A Hoe', 'Conversations End With Hello' and 'The Girl with the Butthole Tattoo'. We believe a prophetic voice like Crazy Cat Man's deserves a much bigger platform. His hard hitting piece 'Racism' is just one example of the eloquent, inspired social commentary of which he is capable, taking even the most complex, nuanced conflicts and making sense of them for us all with his illuminating poetic verse. Check it out after the jump.

Artist Spotlight - gunnar20
"A Losing Battle" - gunnar20 |
Today we bring you Nathan. An artist who has crafted over 80 pieces in less than a week. His work reflects his dark internal struggle which tends to manifest itself through a hopeless battle with a mighty dragon. He draws from his memory banks to tell the woeful tale of his broken spirit. His deviantART page says "Art is not my profession. I use it as a way to cope with my inner-self. We generally don't get along." Click below to see more of his work.
Oh Dear...
It appears that it is all over. I'm terribly sorry about all this.
Check it out after the jump.
